Summary
Really good quality business cards that were easy and straight forward to order with a lot of different options for various price points and styles. I highly recommend that you place an order for the free sample pack they provide. It really helps you decide which card stock, size and style is right for you.

Packaging
I’m an absolute sucker for packaging and any company that puts in thought and effort into their packaging are companies that I tend to become a repeat customer of. And not only is the packaging thoughtful, it’s also really well made and something you want to keep for your cards vs toss.

Print Quality
The print quality is first rate but I knew that because I had placed an order for the free sample pack, which I highly recommend. The print quality can be different depending on the style of card you get, whether its more of a matte type finish, gloss or fancy like a gold foil stamp.
For the Luxe cards that I ordered, the printing is done on a matte style card stock so it’s not going to be super sharp as the ink absorbs more into the paper. Whenever you’re printing something with a matte look, you’re always going to get that sort of matte print quality. Same thing goes for photos.
Because I’m such a fan of matte everything, that’s usually my go to for prints. Either matte or lustre (a finish in between glossy and matte).
Designs
Moo offers a variety of different designs, some good, some ok and some down right hideous. Some people like those hideous designs so I get it, lol. As a Visual Designer turned Creative Director/Photographer, it feels really weird to order business cards from an existing template design, but because I needed cards quickly for my photography business (and because I’ve never created a logo), I thought I would try one of the more minimally designed templates. Turns out, I actually really love the one I chose. The color is me, the minimalism is me and so it was a simple choice.
Card Stock
As mentioned early, the card stock is of a matte finish and very, very thick. It feels premium in the hand with a cardboard like texture and feel. In the photo below, you can see how much space 50 cards take up.

Color
The color is very accurate based on what I saw via my computer screen which is a MacBook Pro Retina. As long as your screen has good color accuracy, isn’t over saturated or muted, I think you’ll find the colors to be spot on.
Value
The value of this specific stock is a bit hard to rate because you are getting the Luxe version with the really thick card stock. So then in that sense, it’s a good value. Do most people need this? Probably not, but for someone like myself whose business is a super part time business, I’m able to spend a little more on my cards since I’m not giving them out as much as most probably should be.
You can also find discount and promo codes and use my referral link above or below this review to save 25% off your first order. Which should get your a nice discount and cover your shipping costs. Shipping was also much faster than implied. I believe it showed up 2 days earlier than expected.
Conclusion
Overall, I’m really happy with my purchase and when I need a refill, I have no doubt I’ll use Moo again. They have a ton of different options and as I said above, make sure to order their free sample pack to help you decide which size and style will work best for you. I love MOO, the only printer for cards I’ve ever used. And I’m also a sucker for packaging: The boxes could be filled with sawdust and cornflakes and I’d be super happy.
